It’s now branched out to a more general audience allowing people to customize their communities for communication among their non-profit organization or hobby group.
CFSY has used Discord for years because some conversation is better when it’s recorded rather than spoken to people who aren’t listening as they’re focused on another project, as well as because we’re able to speak with folks at our parent office (Raven Recycling) without the annoyance and intrusion of a phone call for a quick question.
Since we’re already using Discord so heavily, and because we’ve found that almost all of our interns already have an account before they’re hired on, we figured it would be good to open up public communication channels so that we can all work together to answer any questions you might have.
