<aside> 📢 Why update, and how is Linux better at this?

Just like any other computer that you would prefer to stay secure, in this ever changing world and internet, your computer needs updates every now and then to stay ahead of problems found, and to receive upgrades for better service.

The huge bonus is that almost all versions of Linux don’t force these updates on you at inconvenient times like other operating systems have been doing. Linux allows you to update when you’re not doing something important, and most updates don’t even need you to reboot the computer after.

This is a big reason why Linux is extremely popular in the server world. Almost any website you visit on the internet is likely being run from a Linux server, chosen because of it’s stability as well as the ability to control how and when updates are installed.
